The journey of fitness is one that comes with its valleys of multiple failings and its peaks of encouraging victories.
There are periods when all I want to do is train and workout. Whilst other times, all I want to do is crawl into a cave and hibernate with PB&J toast and a few packets of bacon
The “motivation period” is, what I like to call, hype-mode. This is the phase when I’m actually motivated to gym and eat healthy. When my focus is anchored and the location pin of my goal is within view. This fitness motivation is something that, I’ve realized, needs to be fought for. By all means necessary, because it is so easy to lose!
In the past, I’d allow a weekend, of feasting on unhealthy food, to hamper my motivation to gym for the duration of the following week- Missing gym for the next week, to “nurse” the guilt of that pizza slice from Saturday.
The issue would not have been the fact that I’d have treated myself to glorious junk food (everything in proportion, of course), but the fact that I wouldn’t have gotten back onto the wagon thereafter.
True perseverance come from getting back into the routine, after falling off from it.
The conscious decision to press past short-comings, ignites an inherent endurance within you. An endurance that gives you the ability to get up, that much faster, the next time you fall.
In such times, I feel God speaks contentment to my heart. Helping me bringing me to be aware of the beauty of being patient with yourself. Being focused on my fitness goal whilst being content with the stage of transformation that my is currently body undergoing.
The goal to change your body should not stem from a place of self-hatred but, rather, from the place of intentional self-care. Regardless of whether the fruits of such self-care are observable by others or not.

Wonderful blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring writers?
I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little
lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely overwhelmed
.. Any recommendations? Thanks a lot! http://ncn-build.zz.vc/groups/how-to-draw-eye-popping-language-papers/
I’d say starting with it head on. You can never fully be 100% ready to publish your work. However, I do suggest getting a mentor, in the same field.. This person could help proof-read your posts before you schedule to make them public. Constructive criticism is necessary at the starting stages of any blog. Someone to tell you the truth and help make your site the best possible! 🙂 Platforms like WordPress are really good for first-time bloggers as their site offers a variety of templates to customize your site to make it as personalized as possible! Hope this helped and that all goes well. 🙂
